Group Accommodation

We welcome group bookings - with lovely countryside all around. Great for groups. Fishing, canoeing, walking, climbing and golf. Walk to pub. ... , group activities available in the surrounding area and much more.

Wedding Accommodation


Pentre is situated just across the road from Craig Y Nos Castle, which has become a very popular Wedding Venue. If you are attending a Wedding, and the Castle is unable to accommodate you, please give us a try as we may sometimes have vacancies!

Please as a first book direct but also check availability and book via Booking.Com


Brides/Grooms - you may book out our entire property for your guests (subject to availability). A small bond will be taken, and please have your guests book within 6 weeks. If you wish, you may book the guests in yourselves, or they may contact us direct quoting your wedding as reference.

Ground floor bedroom

Our ground floor room sleeps up to 4 people and easily accommodates wheelchair access throughout. There is a fully equipped wet room including:



Other Rooms at Pentre

The upper floor rooms at Pentre have stairs leading to them and are not practicable for wheelchair use. However, guests with some independent mobility may find the second floor room and en suite bathroom accessible.


We have 3 family rooms which sleep up to 4 people and 1 double room which sleeps up to 2 people.


We currently don't have high chair facility but we do have travel cots available.

Parking

Reserved parking for disabled visitors is available immediately alongside the accommodation and there is level access, by means of a flat, paved path, into the ground floor room.



Riding

Riding activities, using quiet horses, in our all weather outdoor schools, can be provided for disabled guests with some independent mobility. Please contact us for further details.


 

Further Information

The outdoor area, ground floor hallway, stairs to upper floors, landings and corridors are well lit for ease of mobility and safety during the night.

Fridge space for medication can always be provided - please just ask


Assistance dogs are welcome at Pentre, if accompanying their owner, in our ground floor bedroom.


There is a no smoking policy throughout Pentre Yard, bedrooms and all indoor spaces.

Deposit and balance payment:



Arrival / Departure Times

Except by prior arrangement with Pentre Stables, guests would normally be expected to arrive at any time after 3pm on the afternoon of the first night booked.

Delayed or abnormally late arrivals should be advised to Pentre Stables as early as possible in order that the room can be held.

Departure would normally be by 10 am on the leaving day.


Cancellation of bookings: If you need to cancel your booking, please be aware of the following:



Pentre Stables reserves the right to cancel a booking:


Aside from the above provisos, cancellation of your booking, by us, will only occur in the event of circumstances not under the control of Pentre Stables (eg fire, theft, damage etc.) In this event all deposits and / or fees paid will be refunded but hirers will have no claim against Pentre Stables.



General Terms:

Pentre Stables reserves the right to charge the person, organisation or company that made the booking for loss or damage to Pentre Stables property, that is not due to normal wear and tear, resulting from that booking.


Hirers are asked to leave the accommodation in the condition they would wish to find it. Any breakages, which must be paid for, should be reported to Pentre Stables prior to departure.


Pentre Stables cannot be held responsible for any accident, loss or damage which may be sustained by any hirer, member of his/her party or their property however caused. Hirers are requested to use the accommodation and the facilities provided with care.

Stay with us

Pentre Riding Stables is situated in the lovely Upper Swansea Valley in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, an area specially designated for its outstanding natural beauty. Pentre offers a perfect base from which to enjoy a holiday, overnight stay or short break in this beautiful region.


Pentre has been a Riding Stables and Trekking Centre for many years. We also offer high quality purpose-built Bed and Breakfast accommodation adjoining Pentre farm-house. This is ideal for singles, couples and families wishing to combine a comfortable B&B or self catering break with horse-riding and lots of other outdoor activities.


The Stables are superbly situated, within easy reach of the M4 Motorway, yet right in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, directly opposite Craig-y-Nos Castle, and just down the road from the Dan-yr-Ogof National Showcaves of Wales.

We welcome riders, cyclists, bikers, walkers and ramblers, as well as accommodating visitors' pets, and horses - prices available on request.

On the south-westerly edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park three rivers – the Mellte, Hepste and Nedd-fechan - have carved their way through soft rocks to create steep wooded gorges full of caves and some of the most dramatic waterfalls.




Home to Phoenix and the Tower Coaster, Zip World Tower is the 4th Zip World site to open, and is the 1st to be situated in South Wales. Nestled in the Rhigos mountain range, and boasting stunning panoramic views.

First discovered in 1912, and opened to the public in 1939, there are now 3 Show Caves, a Dinosaur Park, replica Iron-Age Village, Shire Horse centre and Stone Circles to explore.



Formerly a traditional Welsh hill farm, the sanctuary now rescues and provides a home for many types of unwanted animals. especially primates, such as chimpanzees, baboons, spider monkeys, capuchins and marmosets.
